Key words: gender factors, aggression, psychology.

The problem of human aggression is one of acute and actively studied in modern psychology.

Many different factors effect development of aggression (individual or collective behavior or action directed to making physical or mental harm): interpersonal relationships, family, property status, intelligence level and personal psychological factors.

The authors conducted a research with 130 students of Russian state university of physical culture, sport, youth and tourism.

Often development of aggression is influenced by the fact how man correlates with people around him, how he feels himself and who he wants to be. There was conducted a T. Liri's diagnostics of interpersonal relationships to allocate the dominating type of attitude to people in self-appraisal and peer assessment.

Conclusions. The studies resulted in the following conclusions:

• Men and women have most expressed verbal aggression.

• Female level of aggression is higher than male one.

• In interpersonal relationships in women the dominating personal features such as authority, self centredness, aggression and suspiciousness are expressed stronger than in men.

The received data testify to the fact that women are more intent to aggressive behavior. Consequently, it is possible to suppose that it is the result of female emancipation and a number of other factors. Modern society requires from a woman several complicated tasks difficult to perform in combination. Due to great load woman can feel dissatisfaction with herself and people around her, frustration resulting in neuroses and aggressive behavior.
