Modern volleyball is characterized by high dynamics, universal technical-tactical preparedness of players, ability to execute motor actions in various conditions of game activity that are associated with high exercise performance within the whole game. The level of physical and technical-tactical preparedness of volleyball-players of the strongest teams is approximately in the same range. Further increase of sportsmanship of volleyballers is obviously associated with expansion of athletes' motor potential by increasing variation of motor actions. Such an approach differs by perspectiveness of improvement of technicaltactical preparedness of volleyball-players in conditions of work of children's sports schools of Olympic reserve.
 
The purpose of the present research was theoretical and methodological substantiation of the role of formation of variation of motor actions based on formed before skills and abilities.
 
The multilateral analysis of different approaches to physical and technical-tactical preparedness of volleyball-players testified to substantial variety in the features of technical training of athletes on the modern stage of volleyball development. Speed-power direction of volleyball game is one of characteristic features of the modern manner of play, associated with increase of dynamics, acuteness of competitive moments resulting in the growth of spectacular effect of the game of volleyball.
 
The results of the pedagogical research proved that ability for variation of motor actions was one of the most acute components of the contents of technical-tactical preparedness of female volleyball-players, which level of development effected the results of competitive activity. Awareness of the role of the quoted component influences activation of not only motor, but also cognitive activities, stimulates female athletes to search for other ways of selfexpression and self-realization, playing a big role for the growth of sportsmanship.
