The purpose of the present research was to pay attention to physical development of children with infantile cerebral paralysis.

Methods and organization of the research. Most of the classes of adaptive physical culture have standard structure of conducting and presuppose a rather limited set of exercises of passive or passive-active gymnastics, mostly while sitting or lying. Active exercises in vertical position are not used at all. Teachers of adaptive physical culture forget that child spends most of the time sitting and has a lack of movement negatively reflecting on his state. Thus to improve functional and physical status of pupils it is necessary to use such an equipment that gives results even at minimal number of lessons a week.

The authors subjected a technique of development of increase of motor activity in natural vertical body position with the use of "Gross's simulator" for pupils of correctional institutions for effectiveness of conducting classes of adaptive physical culture.

Thus the subjected integrated technique on increase of motor activity with the use of "Gross's simulator" proved its effectiveness in work with children with the diagnosis of infantile cerebral paralysis in conditions of specialized correctional institution. The experiment shown that the given technique promoted performance of exercises in the vertical body position, facilitated development of body reserve abilities that considerably accelerated the process of rehabilitation on the classes of adaptive physical culture.
