On the way to formation of sports culture in student environment

Introduction. The modern stage of social development is a period of escalation of problems of the national recreation in the country. The problem of creation of the sports social personality centered environment, forming a positive attitude to healthy lifestyle, striving for more efficient physical development and physical fitness based on the increase of sports activity along with the issue of implementation of the tasks of the optimal medical service of young students is very relevant and crucial today in educational institutions.

Proceeding from the analysis of the educational studies of the last decade in the field of the issues of asocial phenomena among young students as a key deterrent of development and motivation to healthy way of life and motor activity, federal applications programs on prevention of the use of psychoactive substances, big fund allocation for implementation of the programs bring something positive to the young society. Nevertheless, it is not enough to implement the tasks of modernization of the Russian education, where the increase of the quality of education is a priority.

Nowadays the concept “quality of education” is not reduced to students’ proficiency, set of knowledge and skills, but is related directly to the concept “quality of life”, coming out via such categories as “physical health”, “social wellbeing”, “self-realization”, “security” etc.

The introduction of FSES in 2010 in higher professional educational institutions to some extent refreshed the approach used successfully in some time in the Soviet period, on the implementation in higher education of the institution of socialization, opposed to the process of destruction of the educational system of the rising generation. The content of the new standard clearly defines competences, obliging both students and leading experts to specify their activity in solving the problems of education and training.

In order to achieve the objectives of FSES one can model the forms of organization of educational activity, including physical and sports, recreational, etc.

Informational is among the main forms of such models, designed to fully inform a person by means of the most modern sources on the positive phenomena in terms of health and social well-being, on the negative effects of psychoactive substances, the hazards of smoking, alcohol, etc. The forms of organization of students’ educational activity within the requirements of the new state educational standard on the use of active and interactive forms of education (materials, multimedia, interactive boards and other forms) contribute to optimization of students' information supply, active implanting in their mind of above values ​​and focusing them on these values.

The suggested information model, being implemented by the university, should become a counterweight to another informational component focused by "other" sources relying on the intimidation effect, conscious evocation of fear, inciting students to bad behavior or sometimes crime. Acquisition of incorrect information or the lack of it in some sphere is taken as the basis of most emotional and behavioral problems of a young man.

Materials and methods. For the purpose of studies of the sports focused approach in the course of self-development of students’ personality in the modern conditions, provided by the university, we made a questionnaire to estimate the level of attitude to integrated solution of recreational tasks within the annual monitoring of the level of physical development and fitness of 1-2-year students.

The main emphasis of the questioning procedure comes to the identification of student's activity level related to value orientations (sports, sociocultural, personality centered) on the formation of positive attitudes toward them.

Results of the study. In the questionnaire, except for traditionally accepted theories in the sphere of physical and sports activity, we relied on the theoretical foundations of the information model, especially regarding the model of persuasion in the field of health according to Rosenstock-Becker; the theory of motivated action according to I. Eysenck and M. Fishbein and the theory of social influence and persuasive communication by K. Levin, F. Zimbardo , etc. Such a complex combination of methods used to identify the motivational level of young students to the active stand in life, including sports-centered one, helps to optimize planning of health and fitness and mass sports activities in a higher educational institution, to correct their orientation and positive impact.

As a result of such researches and organized mass events, the list of students, willing to attend classes of their favorite sport in addition to compulsory classes, is annually updated, the geography of this sport among young students is constantly expanding.

Conclusion. The carried out monitoring of young students’ social behavior is meant for realization of the tasks of personality cultural development, including development of physical and sports culture, life experience accumulation on the positive basis. During further studies of students, subjects of educational experiments of such a kind, the tendency of personality’s self-determination and self-development is being traced as one of the key problems of the interaction between an individual and society, one of the main tasks is being implemented – to give students knowledge in the field of physical culture and sport, teach how to build personality technology of self-development, to share personal experience with the rising generation.

Thus, the use of modern methods and innovation forms of organization of university educational activity was proved to facilitate activation of students' creative potential, introduction of young people to healthy way of life, formation of the value attitude to sports classes, stimulation of the process of moral education.

Formation of student’s personal sports culture will be the main task of the next stage of organization of sports activity based on the new forms of educational and training processes. Student sports club, establishment of sports sections, active involvement of different sports, regular competitions will enable the use of the values of sports activity to the full for development of students’ motivation and interest in sports lifestyle.

Student environment will have a new culturological resource for formation of students’ sports culture.
