Key words: style characteristics of self-control, team and individual sports, preadult age.

Psychological resources of human personality are purposefully revealed within training of athletes in conditions of early professionalization, including the specifics of behavior self-control that can promote achievement of maximum results in sport.

Success in learning of a specific type of activity depends in many ways on the subject’s ability to develop a style of self-control, characterized by maturity of the integral system of self-control and close correlation of regulatory processes implementing it. In case of available expressed individual specifics in the self-control profile and disagreement with the regulatory specifics of activity its success will depend on the subject's wish and ability to develop the style of self-control with sufficiently developed single regulatory processes.

Studies of sports career within early professionalization are distinguished by the established fact of shift of standard phases of professional development to earlier age periods and inevitable effect of this shift on mental development the children involved.

This proves the relevance of the theoretical and empirical need for studies of behavior self-control among preadult athletes, which existence is indicated by specific features of socialization and personal and professional self-determination.

The purpose of the study was to make a comparative analysis of style features of self-control of team and individual athletes' behavior.

Involvement in the early professionalization makes a certain effect on the profiles of the human conscious self-control activity and cannot be considered as a positive or negative factor influencing formation and development of a subject view of a preadult athlete.
