Design process is intended to put in order the subject system on the whole and in every part, and the design projects may be classified into direct and indirect ones depending on the goals of the conscientious human creative activity.
Objective of the present study was to analyze the factors of influence on the physical fitness test and rating system design. Sampled for the study were teachers and cadets of S.M. Budenny Military Communications Academy (n=27). The conducted study included a questionnaire survey to obtain the expert opinions on the relative importance of every element of the physical fitness test and rating system; highlight the key elements; and find the best design options. The study data and analyses made it possible to estimate the knowledgebase for and key elements of the stages of the physical fitness test system design process; and set training goals for the learning process of fundamentals of physical fitness test system design.
Keywords: design, physical fitness test system, education.
