Objective of the study was to find and analyse correlations of the freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling champions’ success stories versus their astrological zodiac signs that could be of positive effects on their competitive successes in the Olympic Games. Subject to the study were the career records of 331 athletes. The study showed that the most favourable zodiacal and astrological signs for success in the freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling championships are Aries and Dog, respectively.
Most favourable for the team sport competitions are the Earth zodiac signs including Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo. Success records of the two-times-plus Olympic champions showed that their most favourable zodiac sign is Virgo and the astrological years of birth are Goat, Rat, Tiger and Horse.
