Physical fitness of schoolchildren is known to be estimated by the functional qualities he displays such as: agility, strength, endurance, speed strength and motor coordination.
Functional abilities of children can be estimated be means of monitoring of performance of motor exercises. Such large-scale comparative studies have not yet been carried out for different aimaks of Mongolia, testifying to the relevance of the present research.
The purpose of the present study was to make a comparative analysis of speed and strength qualities of schoolchildren of Mongolia living in different climatogeographical zones.
The studies resulted in a number of conclusions:
– speed and strength qualities of 7-18-year-old schoolchildren, living in different climatogeographical zones improve with age, but it some age groups deterioration of results is possible.
– the allocated gender, age differences between the data for children of these aimaks are significant.
– the established differences stipulate for the necessity of designing oа regional standards of speed and strength qualities of Mongolian schoolchildren.
