Peculiarities of Endurance Development in Mongolian Schoolchildren Aged 7-18 from Various Geographical Zones

Success in management of the process of physical education of children and adolescents is in many respects stipulated by the quality and volume of information on the state of their physical development and fitness. It is correlated with the fact that determination of the process of physical education, its current and long-term goals and tasks cannot be defined without taking into account the specifics of regional conditions and individual peculiarities of physical development of every child, his physical fitness, motor status, rates and pace of development.
The purpose of the present study was to determine the level of endurance of Mongolian schoolchildren aged 7-18 years old, residents of different geographical zones.
The comparative analysis of the 1000 meter running test revealed the gender and age differentiation. Generally, the girls’ endurance develops better in the secondary school age than in the junior one, while the boys of the same age show the signs of continuous development of this quality.
The boys’ endurance quality develops earlier and it keeps developing longer than that of the girls, indicating to the difference in the male and female biological development, so men are distinguished from women by the stronger development of the functional system, which facilitates man’s long-term human exercise performance (endurance). Endurance of 7-18-year-old schoolchildren, residents of different geographical zones, improves with age, and rural schoolchildren had better results as opposed to pupils from the city.
The allocated differences indicate to the need to design some programs of enhancement of endurance of Mongolian schoolchildren.
