Features of healthsaving activities of students with disabilities in the context of sports activities

Objective of the study was to conduct a primary diagnosis of the indicators of the level of development of health-preserving activities of students involved in sports.
Methods and structure of the study. The empirical method of the study was testing using the questionnaire "Study of health-preserving activities" by N.V. Yakovleva. Data was calculated using the statistical package IBM SPSS Statistics 27, Excel program. Statistical methods: Fisher's φ-criterion. The basis for the empirical study was the Russian State University of Social Technologies. The study involved 60 people aged 17-24, 30 of whom were students with disabilities involved in sports (Group 1), 30 students not involved in sports (Group 2).
Results and conclusions. Differences in the level of development of health-preserving activities in disabled student-athletes compared to their peers who do not engage in sports were revealed; the indicators of the former were significantly higher. The authors conclude that the organization of a health-preserving educational environment at the university ensures the effective inclusion of disabled students involved in sports activities in social life through the actualization of their physical health, achieving harmony of spiritual, mental and physical potential.
