Objective of the study was to identify students' opinions on the possibilities of creating an inclusive educational environment in a university setting for individuals with disabilities.
Methods and structure of the study. A sociological survey was conducted on the topic: «People with disabilities (disabled people) in higher education». The survey covered students of three institutes of the Siberian State University of Science and Technology named after Academician M.F. Reshetnev, in which 130 people took part, of which 71 were boys and 59 girls, including 4 visually impaired and 3 students with musculoskeletal disorders.
Results and conclusions. Inclusion of students with disabilities in the educational environment of the university contributes to their social adaptation, development of their life opportunities, professional orientation and preparation for work. Inclusive education in the field of physical education is a system that is aimed at integrating students with disabilities into public life. This allows them to obtain not only knowledge and skills of motor activity, but also to fully participate in the social and cultural life of society.
