Introduction. One of the basic key conditions for the formation of students' sports culture is the humanistic orientation of personality development based on the integration of educational and sports activities [1].
The purpose of the study is to theoretically develop and experimentally substantiate the effectiveness of the methodology for the development of the humanistic component of the sports culture of the personality of students in the process of integrating educational and sports activities.
Methodology and organization of the study. The methodology for the development of the humanistic component of the sports culture of the students' personality (hereinafter – GKSCLS) includes in its content a set of cognitive-evaluative and reflexive-semantic educational tasks aimed at actualizing a positive value attitude to various aspects of sports activities, the ideals of the Olympic movement and ethical norms of sports behavior. To determine the level of development of GKSCLS, a modified version of the M ranking methodology was used. Rokich with the calculation of the index of realizability of individual characteristics of humanistic values of a person in relation to educational and sports activities, as well as the questionnaire method.
The results of the study and their discussion. At the beginning of the experiment, there were no statistically significant differences in the indicators of the level of development of GKSCLS in the subjects of EG and KG. At the end of the experiment, the GCSCLS remained at the same reproductive and ethical level of development in the KG. At the same time, the EG GKSCLS has increased from a reproductive to an ethical and value level in terms of evaluation indicators: 1) knowledge about the concept of humanism in sports activities, its place, role and significance of the humanistic orientation of the Olympic movement; 2) a positive value attitude to the norms and ideals of sports and humanistic behavior and sports lifestyle; 3) ethical and moral qualities necessary for the formation of a comprehensively harmoniously developed personality of students engaged in their chosen sport; 4) skills and abilities of intercultural humanistic communication and constructive interaction between subjects of educational and sports activities; 5) general cultural competence as the ability to master and assign values to sports activities and the Olympic movement.
Conclusions. Summarizing the results of the scientific research, it should be concluded about the effectiveness of the GKSCLS development methodology in the process of integrating educational and sports activities.
