Objective of the study was to identify the dependence of motivation indicators for performing physical exercises on the phases of the ovarian-menstrual cycle of girls.
Results and conclusions. The scientific work involved girls training in strength exercises with training experience of up to two years, as well as more than five years. The dynamics of motivation for physical exercise during different phases of the ovarian-menstrual cycle were assessed.
Результаты исследования и выводы. Different concentrations of hormones in a given period of the OMC lead to changes in the psycho-emotional state, which can negatively affect the performance indicators of female athletes. It has been shown that in the premenstrual phase of the OMC, there is a decrease in motivation in girls of both groups, especially in girls with little training experience. In the postmenstrual phase, on the contrary, there is an increase in motivation for training.
