Objective of the study was to determine the significant relationships between spiroergometric markers of exercise tolerance.
Methods and structure of the study. The sample of highly qualified athletes in cyclic sports was studied: 67 people, 19-24 years old. The following was performed: maximum ergometric testing (Lode treadmill, Cosmed gas analyzer) according to the Ramp protocol; Wingate test. The following were recorded: absolute and relative levels of maximum oxygen consumption (VO2max), lactate concentration (La); at the anaerobic threshold (AnT): speed (Van), percentage of VO2max (VO2maxan), HRsan; Wingate test: maximum speed Vmx and working time. Nonparametric criteria were used for statistical processing (Statistica 10.0).
Results and conclusions. A decreasing positive relationship of moderate intensity with the load endured is demonstrated in the following series: VO2max (0,52), maximum speed during anaerobic testing (0,4), aerobic-anaerobic transition speed (0,38), maximum lactate concentration (0,3). The following can be used to predict physical performance: VO2max, maximum anaerobic speed, speed during the aerobic-anaerobic transition. However, the moderate intensity of the identified relationships does not allow them to be considered fundamental. The lack of data on the time of occurrence of the markers under study, the duration of CI in them, as well as the complete lack of cardiorhythmogram analysis significantly reduce the possibilities and prospects of the identified indicators.
