Effect of multicomponent training variability on improving the level of sports fitness of open water swimmers

Objective of the study was to assessment of the influence of multicomponent variability of training programs on improving the physical and tactical readiness of open water swimmers.
Methods and structure of the study. The study is based on the hypothesis that training using programs that take into account multi-component environmental changes, especially inclusion in the open water training program, can significantly improve physical endurance, tactical skills and psychological stability of swimmers. This study analyzed the effectiveness of training for two groups of swimmers: the first group trained according to a standard program in the pool, and the second group included open water training using various exercises. A total of 40 swimmers of different training levels, specializing in open water swimming, took part in the experiment.
Results and conclusions. The results of the study support the hypothesis that the inclusion of open water training improves swimmers' performance. These findings can be used to develop new training methods aimed at optimizing open water swimmers' performance.
