Objective of the study was to identify modern approaches to activating mental and physical (sensorimotor) activity in the field of health-improving physical education of students.
Methods and structure of the study. A theoretical analysis and generalization of data from specialized literature was conducted. During the ascertaining experiment, physical condition indicators were determined using the Ruffier index and mental performance diagnostics using the Bourdon method, in which 130 first-year students of various training programs at the Southern Federal University took part.
Результаты исследования и выводы. The results of diagnostics of the level of physical condition according to the Ruffier index were 11,90 ± 2,43 conventional units, which indicates below average levels, and diagnostics of mental performance according to the Bourdon test – 1,39 ± 0,44 (bit / s), which corresponds to a low speed of information processing. Analysis of modern approaches and the obtained results allow, as promising scientific research on activating mental and physical (sensorimotor) activity in the field of health-improving physical culture of students, to develop new technologies using digital resources.
