Criteria for evaluating students of a special medical group in the subject «Physical education»

Objective of the study was to justify and experimentally test the point-rating system for assessing student performance in the subject «Physical Education».
Methods and structure of the study. The experiment involved 30 first-year students of the Moscow State University of Land Use Planning, assigned to a special medical group for health reasons. The students were divided into two groups - experimental and control (15 people in each). The introduction of a point-rating assessment system involved solving several problems: increasing the adaptive potential of students; increasing physical activity and involving students in regular physical exercise; ensuring correct assessment in physical education, based on mastering an individual physical education and health route.
Results and conclusions. The results of the implementation of the assessment technology developed by the authors and its role in increasing physical activity and involving students in regular physical exercises, and student satisfaction with the physical education process are presented. The assessment technology for the discipline “Physical Culture” provides as credit points: a high level of physical activity in the daily routine, increasing the functional reserves of the body, participation in sports events, methodological literacy, activity in the classroom (including work on homework), expansion of motor experience, research activities.
