Introduction. In unusual conditions of social isolation (Covid-19), there are a number of stressful factors that worsen the state of physical and psychological health. Additional motor activity helps to increase students' stress tolerance.
The purpose of the study is to develop advisory and wellness techniques "Aerobics" and "Running" using means and methods of physical culture and to test their effectiveness to increase stress tolerance of students in conditions of social isolation.
Methodology and organization of the study. The following research methods were used: questionnaire, PSM-25 Lemyre scale of psychological stress, R. Tessier, L. Fillion, 1991; PSQI); the method of MIL R. Kettell (16 FLO-187-A); MMPI; SCL90; expert assessment; 4 methods of functional diagnostics, determination of the body composition of the subjects. The experiment involved students (n=41) who were in conditions of "group social isolation". All the subjects, including the control group (n=11), were engaged in physical education according to the standard university program. Experimental group No. 1 was additionally engaged in the specially developed author's advisory and wellness method "Aerobics" (n = 15), No. 2 - in the method "Running" (n = 15).
The results of the study and their discussion. At the end of the experiment, the students of the control group had a higher degree of psychopathological symptoms, interpersonal anxiety and stress levels than the students of the experimental groups. The "Aerobics" technique had significant positive changes on the participants of the experiment, who are prone to developing reactive constitutional asthenization of the nervous system in conditions of social isolation, devoid of signs of mental tension, irritability due to assessments, demands of others, as unpleasant, found in the group of subjects who chose the "Running" program. However, in addition to positive changes, there was a significant increase in the psychoticism index (factor F9 SCL–90), a decrease in sensitivity to external stimuli, to the demands of others, which began to be regarded as unpleasant (factor I "Stiffness – Sensitivity", Kettel test).
Conclusion. It is confirmed that the use of the author's consulting and wellness techniques "Aerobics" and "Running" helps to reduce stress and depression, the severity of psychopathological symptoms, improve interpersonal relationships, reduce interpersonal anxiety and hostility in subjects; reduce paranoia in people prone to psychosis.
The study was conducted within the framework of the Hubei University of Nationalities project: "Teaching, research and reforms at the school level 2023" (No. 7). Project title: "Theory and practice of first-class courses in local ethnic universities." Using the example of the provincial course "Ethnic fitness gymnastics".
