The purpose of the study is to substantiate the possibilities of using the means of Chinese folk dances, Chinese wellness practices and national outdoor games in designing the socio–cultural environment of Russian universities.
Methodology and organization of the study. The theoretical and methodological basis of the research was the conceptual foundations for designing the socio-cultural environment of the university, including personality-oriented, cultural, integrative, environmental and technological approaches in physical education of students.
The results of the study and conclusions. It is shown that the design of the socio-cultural environment of the university based on Chinese folk dances, various types of recreational practices and national outdoor games creates a single educational space for the formation and development of spiritual, moral values and physical improvement of all subjects of educational activity. The use of cultural traditions and positive domestic and foreign experience in the field of physical activity ensures the flexibility of the Russian education system and the possibility of its improvement through the use of new forms of educational, educational and administrative work in the formation of effective socialization of students.
