Increasing the physical fitness of middle-aged people through classical dances

Objective of the study is to effect of classical dance classes on physical fitness and reaction time among dancers of initial training.
Methods and structure of the study. The experiment included 60 people aged 23 to 30 years old attending a class for beginner dancers. Participants completed their dance protocol three days a week for four months.
Results and conclusions. Four months of classical dance practice in middle-aged people has a positive effect on reaction time, but does not affect physical fitness. Significant sex differences were found in some parameters such as weight, muscle mass and percentage of fat mass, and grip strength test. The subjects shared their social progress and increased personal self-esteem. These include: understanding and perception of feeling and tact in music; training in disciplinary behavior; outburst of negative emotional outbursts; freedom in communication with people.
