Introduction. The application of the basic foundations of the national Yakut wrestling "hapsagai" at the initial stage of sports specialization of young freestyle wrestlers is the foundation of effective wrestling training for further sporting success in this sport, which determined the relevance of the scientific article.
The purpose of the study is to substantiate the need to include the Yakut national wrestling "hapsagai" in the sports training of young freestyle wrestlers and recommend it in practice.
The results of the study and their discussion. The analysis of the practical base and scientific and methodological literature on the research topic made it possible to design an organizational and pedagogical model for the introduction of elements of the national wrestling "hapsagai" into the sports training of young freestyle wrestlers.
The figure shows the structure and content of the organizational and pedagogical model of designing the national wrestling "hapsagai".
The organizational and pedagogical model presented in the figure contains an algorithm for using the means of national wrestling "hapsagai" in the sports training of freestyle wrestlers at the stages of sports activity.
Conclusion. At all stages of sports training, hapsagai wrestling equipment is harmoniously included, which allows you to maintain and integrate modern methods of freestyle wrestling with time-tested and generational exercises from the national culture of martial arts of the Sakha Republic.
