Comparative analysis of volleyball curriculums in universities and collegs in China

Objective of the study was to identify the main problems of training volleyball teams and the formation of professional competencies of a coach in the process of comparing the content of volleyball curricula in universities and colleges in China.
Methods and structure of the study. Scientific work was carried out at the Russian University of Sports (GTSOLIFK) and universities in China. In the course of the study, information was obtained on the target settings, structure and content of the volleyball curriculum at the universities of China and Russia.
Results and conclusions. Statistical analysis of physical education curricula of Chinese and Russian colleges and universities allows us to determine the main problems of training volleyball teams and the formation of professional competencies of a coach in a chosen sport, which ultimately determines the effectiveness of student sports development.
