Introduction. According to research, systematic self-diagnosis of health indicators contributes to strengthening the control of the functional state of the body engaged in physical activity and, accordingly, is an effective tool for the prevention and prevention of various diseases, overtraining in the process of physical activity.
The purpose of the study is to substantiate the content of the innovative project "Health Monitoring" in the context of self–diagnosis of the state of health in the process of physical activity.
Methodology and organization of the study. Self-diagnosis can be performed by any participant of the educational and training process in amateur, professional, physical culture and recreational sports, as well as those engaged in various types of active leisure. Self-diagnosis of the most important health indicators [1] includes:
training in working with the simplest tools and devices that measure the most important health indicators: physical development (FR), physical (AF) and functional fitness (functional fitness) of body systems;
filling in the map of actual measurements in the Excel program;
training in the methodology of calculating indicators: FR – determination of the weight and life indices, the index of hand strength and chest excursion; FP – determination of the calculated values of physical qualities, taking the standards of the test tests of the VFSK TRP as a standard; Function – calculation of the Rouffier index for monitoring the cardiovascular system, biological age according to the methodology of the Institute of Gerontology of the Academy of Sciences, Central nervous system by tapping test and Romberg test, respiratory system by Rod and Gencha tests;
evaluation of the results obtained for compliance with gender and age medical requirements and the requirements of the TRP standards for physical training of the population.
The results of the study and their discussion. The implementation of the project "Health Monitoring" at Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov demonstrated its effectiveness. A survey conducted among students who performed self-diagnosis during physical activity showed the following.
Many students noted the simplicity and accessibility of mastering the methodology of self-diagnosis, performing its technological stages, in particular, measurement, calculation, evaluation. The majority of students were interested in the possibility of simultaneously monitoring the state of their body during exercise, which increased their motivation for motor activity.
Conclusions. The uniqueness of the Health Monitoring project lies in the massive involvement of students, which allows them to accumulate large amounts of data that serve as a basis for identifying new trends in the development of physical activity and making decisions to improve the process of physical education.
Gratitude. The scientific article was supported by a grant from the Kazan Innovation University named after V. G. Timiryasov.
