Objective of the study was to evaluate the features of the autonomic regulation of the heart rhythm in athletes with hearing impairment in the conditions of the northern region.
Methods and structure of the study. The pedagogical experiment involved 22 highly qualified volleyball athletes with hearing impairment, 19 volleyball athletes without hearing impairment, 22 untrained students without hearing impairment living in the northern region for at least 10 years. The age of the examined persons was 25.37±4.08 years. Analysis of heart rate variability was performed based on the recording of five-minute cardio intervals in subjects at rest. Statistical indicators of cardiointervals and indicators of variational pulsometry were evaluated.
Results and conclusions. It was revealed that indicators of the functional state of the cardiovascular system in highly qualified volleyball players with hearing loss reflect specific relationships expressed by an increase in the tone of the parasympathetic regulatory link of the nervous system during living and training activities in the conditions of the northern region. When high sports demands were made, some of the volleyball players with hearing impairment showed signs of moderate stress on the mechanisms of autonomic regulation due to the centralization of heart rhythm control.
