Objective of the study was to compare the characteristics of physical and mental health in the experimental groups before and after the completion of a counseling and health program, including jogging and aerobics.
Methods and structure of the study. The study involved Chinese students from the National University in Wuhan, Hubei Province (China). At the formative stage, all subjects were divided into three groups: the 1st experimental group (n=15) was engaged in aerobics; the 2nd experimental group (n=15) went in for running; the control group (n=11) did not participate in the training. The experiment took place in the conditions of ongoing group social isolation for both the subjects of the experimental and control groups, and the rest of the university students.
Results and conclusions. It was found that motor activity not only serves as a source of multimodal sensory information, which in conditions of social isolation improves the condition of internal organs and the nervous system, but also, with the appropriate organization, allows you to objectify (confirm, clarify) your ideas about yourself, determine your psychophysical status, categorize their physical condition as good, find ways to further improve their condition and their status among other students.
