L.I. Lubysheva has a scientifically grounded idea of modernization of domestic physical education based on the transformation of the academic subject "Physical Culture" into the subject "Sports culture" in the senior classes of secondary schools and in university physical education. In this aspect, in 2006 she developed the concept of sports education, which is set out in the dissertation research of her students, and also in 2011 she published a monograph "Sports culture in high school".
