Key words: futsal, applied vocational physical training, students, curriculum.

Physical education is an integral part of education and vocational training of specialists in higher educational institutions, intended to promote students' health and their training for highly efficient work. The issue of training a physically developed, efficient and healthy specialist can be settled using first of all applied vocational physical training (AVPT), aimed at obtaining psychophysical readiness of a man for the efficient professional work.

The purpose of the study was to determine the role of futsal classes in applied vocational physical training of students of technical university.

The popularity of futsal among young students makes relevant the problem of elaborating methodologies of the use of the means of this sport as AVPT in a university. Futsal classes facilitate high efficiency and reliability of central nervous, muscular, thermoregulatory systems, as well as of auditory and visual analyzers and such important qualities for potential civil engineers as general endurance, hand dexterity, responsiveness, vestibular tolerance, volume, distribution and switch of attention, emotional stability and initiative.

The goal of training of football players is to train athletes, ready to meet the requirements made by the current curriculum on physical education in an agrarian university and in learning football technical and tactical skills and abilities.

The principal objectives of the training process are: training of moral and volitional personal qualities; health protection and facilitation of proper physical development; development of basic motor qualities: speed, endurance, agility; training and execution of control tests; development of special abilities and qualities to successfully master the technique and tactics of playing football.

Nation-wide problems in the field of physical education of young students can be successfully solved in case of better forms and methods of organization of classes and identifying unimproved opportunities.

Training exercises in groups on the futsal sports department contribute to the successful solution of objectives of the course "Physical education", more detailed mastering of specialized knowledge of sports equipment, organization and methodology of sports trainings, holding competitions, forming the needs for regular physical exercises and sport.

Training exercises are made in accordance with the physical education curriculum for students, of educational institutions, in organization and content of the work of physical education departments of educational institutions. The main forms of organization of the educational and training process in agricultural universities are classes, lectures, conversations, referees and instructors training practice.

Organization of training exercises on physical culture and sport in universities is organized in view of students’ initial physical fitness level and effectiveness of the system of physical education of young students. Physical fitness of student-football players is an integral part of training a team for competitions. In the training period futsal team trainers pay attention to physical training of players.

Manner of team training exercises and the number of sessions depend mainly on the players’ fitness level, and the scale of competitions. Men's team: Futsal White Nights Cup (men) - 1st place (St.Petersburg); Futsal Neva Cup (men) - 2nd place (St. Petersburg). The University team took the 2nd place in futsal finals of the 6th Winter Universiade of higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Saratov, March 2013 (men). Women's team won the championship of Russia on a student beach football: (women) - 1st place (Anapa); Cup Neva on futsal (women) - 1st place (St. Petersburg).

Physical culture helps to purposefully develop healthy interests in the younger generation, persistently fight bad habits and tendencies, consistently inculcate the need for physical and moral perfection, train willpower, courage and endurance.

The problem of training of a physically developed, efficient and healthy specialist can be solved primarily using AVPhT, which is intended to make a person psychophysically ready for successful work.

AVPhT of students needs the conditions of intensive and intense creative work without overload, fatigue to be created, combined with active rest and physical improvement on physical education classes. This requirement should be met by the use of means of physical culture and sport, which helps to maintain the relatively high and stable educational and labor activity and working capacity of students of engineering and technical universities.

High requirements to a specialist whose work involves contacts with people, lead to a permanent neuro-emotional stress, mental fatigue accumulation, reduction of working capacity, occupational diseases. Therefore, besides the proper volume and quality of professional knowledge and skills, university graduates should have sufficient health resources, high mental and physical working capacity and certain sociopsychological qualities. AVPhT is an important method of training graduates for the upcoming work, included as a primary part in the university curriculum on the discipline "Physical education" [1-3].

AVPhT is designed to ensure formation in students of psychophysical professionally important qualities (PIQ), knowledge and practical skills and abilities during studies to help them quickly adapt and work effectively in the production environment in a chosen specialty.

Organization of AVPhT of students in a university involves studying of psychophysical features and work conditions of such specialists, creation of professiograms of specialties, allocation and possible regulation of PIQ, as well as certain tasks for specific years of training.

An agricultural specialist is characterized by mental stress, resistance to adverse environmental effects, needs attention, high working capacity, physical efforts and endurance.

One of the structural components of applied vocational physical culture (AVPhC) is applied professional sport (APS). APS on the example of futsal is an excellent method of students’ comprehensive physical development to introduce future specialists of technical universities. Necessary physical qualities are being trained during training exercises such as: endurance, high physical working capacity, posture and beautiful body build are being formed.

Conclusions. The study revealed that in 100 m running the results increased by 7.0% and 4.1 % in the experimental and in the control groups respectively, back strength increased by 4.2 %, the right and left hand strength increased by 2.8 % compared with the control groups.
