Objective of the study was to experimental substantiation of a complex of physical exercises aimed at improving the aerobic-anaerobic mechanisms of energy production of students of construction specialties with a low level of physical fitness.
Methods and structure of the study. The experimental set of exercises was aimed at developing speed, strength and endurance. The experiment involved 40 students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering with a low level of physical fitness. All participants were divided into control and experimental groups. The studied contingent was assessed indicators of physical and functional state.
Results and conclusions. The sequence of performing aerobic loads proposed by the authors at the beginning of training sessions allows for a more significant oxygen supply and an increase in cardiac performance in a relatively short time. It is noted that the most effective impact on the vegetative and motor functions of the body of students is exerted by moderate intensity loads, which should precede anaerobic work. This approach allows the most productive coordination of the body functions of a student with a low level of physical fitness when working with high intensity physical activity.
