Progress of the global physical education and sports industry has motivated the national higher education institutions for the projects to implement the most beneficial solutions and improve the physical education and sport specialist education service on the whole. Every academic education establishment strives to reform the academic curricula so that to meet the market challenges with the growing demand for the physical education and sport specialists.
The study analyzes and summarizes different physical education and sport specialist training reform approaches and models in the national higher education system, with a top priority to the competences and knowledgebase of the future physical education and sport specialists.
