When determining the direction of development of sports infrastructure, it is necessary to take into account the criteria of accessibility from the place of residence, the needs of the population, the climatic features of the region. It is necessary to change the methodology for calculating the form of federal statistical observation 1-FC in relation to sports infrastructure in regions with unfavorable climatic conditions, the introduction of the climate coefficient into the calculation. The introduction and use of the climate coefficient will allow to determine the true provision of the population with sports facilities and to review funding.
