Objective of the study was to analyze the possibilities of introducing the experimental analytical information system "Fast Skipper" developed in Russia in the training process of yachtsmen sports reserve.
Methods and structure of the study. The "Fast Skipper" system components were installed on the sailing vessels used for the technical-tactical training of the yachtsmen sports reserve. Proceeding from the analysis of the data read by the sensors, a number of conclusions on the technical-tactical skills of the sports reserve yachtsmen were drawn.
Results of the study and conclusions. The analysis of the data read by the sensors of the "Fast Skipper" system made it possible, in particular, to assess the following aspects: speed of movement of the yacht on the required course, accuracy of turns, accuracy in covering individual elements of the sailing distance, etc. The coaches were able to describe in detail the quality of execution of various tactical actions by the sports reserve yachtsmen.
The studies conducted using the experimental analytical information system "Fast Skipper" showed that it is expedient to apply it in the yachtsmen sports reserve training process in order to improve their technical-tactical skills.
