Practical provisions for extra elective sporting and physical training practices

Lately a special priority in the national sport system has been given to the youth physical education improvement initiatives designed to offer wider opportunities for youth physical activity. The article offers the frame practical provisions to improve the youth sports and physical education. It demonstrates some bodily physical qualities and functions being in certain correlations and shows that purposeful trainings to advance some dominating individual qualities may indirectly improve the associating qualities as well. The study offers a youth training process individualizing model designed to factor in correlations of the physical fitness and functionality rates and makes a special emphasis on the leading individual qualities and fitness aspects. Experimental Group was trained in the model testing experiment as required by the valid academic Physical Education curriculum plus completed the off-class focused trainings in the favourite elective sport disciplines to improve the individual-best physical qualities. The young trainees were required to opt for either of the following extra disciplines: team sports, body-building, fitness aerobics and sambo. The study data and analyses showed benefits of the proposed sporting and physical education model making a special emphasis on the individual-best physical qualities and functions; as verified by the significant progress of the EG in flexibility, coordination ability, strength endurance and speed-strength rates, plus the functionality rates for the 9-months-long experiment.
