Motor rally tracks are normally long enough, with the competitors driving hundreds of kilometres from the start to the special section, in between the speed sections, service zone and finish; and with the motor race going within a strict timeframe and on fixed track. To ensure the race track being perfectly and clearly described for the competitors to come on time to the check points, they need an efficient informational tool to indicate the key points on the track and course. These goals are achieved by the road legend that is accepted as one of the key formal documents of every crew in motor rally.
