The article considers a set of preparatory, basic and additional training exercises of the intensive education course to improve vehicle control skills in the special service drivers.
The existing basic training programs for military service drivers are outdated and meet neither the modern traffic standards nor modern military vehicle control standards, and it holds particularly true for the special service. Drivers are inadequately trained for emergency control actions in difficult and extreme situations. The special training program is offered as an efficient emergency driving skills mastering tool that helps speed up the driving actions and step up the emergency vehicle control skills in the situations when the vehicle loses its balance and control. The study proved benefits of the special training program.
