Throws of the ball in the ring are divided into rolls with ball touching and not touching the board. Literary analysis has confirmed the lack of scientific and experimental research on individual choice of types of throws. Conducted pedagogical observations have shown that the accuracy of the two types of throws is the same and its choice is individual for each athlete. In connection with this there was proposed a method of choosing throw types. The practical relevance of our was research confirmed in the educational experiment.
