The purpose of the present study was scientific substantiation of the methodology of increase of physical fitness of students of non-special profile studying in the universities of physical culture and sport.
The discipline "Sport Training" in the structure of the basic curriculum is one of the most important disciplines of applied and sports-pedagogical cycle in physical culture.
The purpose of the discipline "Sport Training" is formation of ideological, motivational-value orientations and attitudes to protect and promote health, leading healthy way of life, optimizing human psychophysical state, mastering a variety of motor abilities and skills, knowledge related to them, development of motor abilities and high physical working capacity.
Using multiple modular systems of special physical exercises at the classes of "Sports Training" enables to compensate for the lack of motor volume of physical load during a week, as well as improve sports and professional training of students of non-sports profiles.
