Keywords: predictive component of students' sports culture, integration of educational and sports activities
Introduction The predictive potential of personal sports culture as a subject of integration between educational and sports activities represents an integrative personal quality that fosters the development of individual abilities and the realization of students' potential in their chosen sport [1-3].
Research Objective To theoretically develop and experimentally validate the effectiveness of a methodology for enhancing the predictive component of students' sports culture (PCSC) within the context of integrating educational and sports activities.
Methods and Research Organization The PCSC development methodology includes a set of cognitive-analytical, problem-solving, and reflective-intuitive tasks aimed at improving:
- Predictive potential in sports education
- Probabilistic forecasting of competitive outcomes
Research Methods:
- Extrapolation
- Modeling
- Expert evaluation
- Substitution
- Delphi method
- Insight tests
Participants: Experimental (EG) and control (CG) groups of students.
Results and Discussion Initial testing revealed no statistically significant differences in PCSC levels between EG and CG. Post-intervention results showed:
- CG: PCSC remained at a moderate (sufficient) level.
- EG: PCSC improved from moderate to high (creative) level, with enhancements in:
- Predictive thinking (depth, analytical skills, awareness, flexibility, foresight, argumentation)
- Predictive activities in sports education (goal identification, forecast complexity, analytical-predictive interaction, multifactorial analysis, structured/systematic forecasting, accuracy)
- Probabilistic forecasting in competitions (intuition, anticipation, self/team/opponent reflection, decision-making under pressure)
- Sensory-perceptual processes (detection, differentiation, identification, categorization, recognition, description, emotional response)
Conclusions The methodology effectively enhances PCSC, demonstrating its value for predictive research in integrated educational-sports environments.
