Characteristics of professional training of coaches and teachers of sports clubs of rural comprehensive schools

Objective of the study was to identification and analysis of the level of professional training of coaches and teachers of sports clubs in rural comprehensive schools and development of methodological recommendations for its improvement.
Methods and structure of the study. A job description was developed to assess the level of professional competence of teacher-trainers of school sports clubs. It consisted of six blocks, each of which included 10 questions. The study involved 336 respondents – teacher-trainers who conduct their professional activities on the basis of school sports clubs in rural settlements of the Chechen Republic.
Results and conclusions. It was revealed that the teachers-coaches of sports clubs of rural comprehensive schools demonstrate satisfactory mastery of the necessary knowledge and skills in professional competencies. It is recommended that educational organizations, whose competence includes issues of the quality of knowledge in the fundamentals of the theory and methodology of physical education, increasing the level of professional competencies of trainers-teachers of sports clubs of rural comprehensive schools, pay attention to the results of this study when planning and organizing physical education education.
