Objective of the study was to generalization of ideas about the image of one's own body among women oriented toward physical activity in everyday life.
Methods and structure of the study. The study involved 30 women aged 20 to 30 years. The psychodiagnostic method, the ASI-R questionnaire of appearance ideas, the MAIA-R multidimensional assessment of interoceptive awareness of one's body, and the 5PFQ five-factor personality questionnaire were used.
Results and conclusions. Over the course of two and a half months, psychodiagnostics were conducted and diary entries were kept by women aged 20-30 (M=24) to identify their ideas about their own body image, taking into account their daily physical activity. The study revealed five integral indicators that are associated with women's ideas about their body image: physical activity, a positive attitude toward physical contact, insufficient care of their body, many daily activities with other people, and attentiveness to their body. Physical activity is typical for young women who pay attention to their body, think about their appearance, and are oriented toward physical contact.
Keywords: body image, corporeality, physical contact, body satisfaction, physical activity, self-monitoring of activity.
