Objective of the study was to study the psychophysiological characteristics of girls from the Tyumen region national teams in cheerleading, artistic gymnastics and aerobics aged 12-14 and 15-17.
Methods and structure of the study. A psychophysiological study of girls - members of the Tyumen Region national teams in cheerleading, artistic gymnastics and aerobics was carried out. Diagnostics of girls by psychophysiological indicators was carried out in the educational and training process of the 2023-2024 sports season using the psychophysiological testing device «UPFT 1/30 – Psychophysiologist» and a psychomotor test module.
Results and conclusions. It was determined that the girls of the regional cheerleading team most often have a combination of properties characteristic of a weak nervous system, the girls of artistic gymnastics - for a moderately weak one, and the aerobics - for a strong one. At the same time, a very high level of functional mobility of nervous processes is characteristic of the girls of the cheerleading and artistic aerobics teams, while 40% of the girls in the artistic gymnastics team had a low level of this indicator. Despite these differences, all the girls are united by a shift in nervous processes towards inhibition, which indicates stress resistance of the members of the Tyumen Region national teams in artistic gymnastics.
