Assessment of the readiness of graduates of the physical education profile for professional activity during the state examination

Objective of the study was to assess the level of readiness of graduates of the physical education profile for professional activity during the state exam.
Methods and structure of the study. The research work was carried out with the participation of 2024 bachelor's degree graduates of the Transbaikal State University in the field of «Pedagogical Education» in the amount of 43 full-time and part-time students. Using the mechanism of independent assessment of qualifications at open meetings of state examination commissions, the indicators of the theoretical and methodological, project-technological, practical and activity components of readiness for professional activity of graduates were studied.
Results and conclusions. The formation of a teacher's professional readiness for pedagogical activity is carried out in stages, over a long period of time. The main stages are pre-professional training, obtaining specialized pedagogical education in institutions of secondary vocational and higher education, and pedagogical activity itself, during which the teacher is obliged to improve his/her level of qualification.
Based on the developed technology for assessing the results of the state examination, the level of readiness of graduates of the physical education profile for professional activity was determined. The indicators of theoretical and methodological, project-technological, practical and activity-based readiness of graduates of the physical education profile during the state examination were identified. Differences in the structure of readiness for professional activity of full-time and correspondence students were found.
A correlation relationship was established between the indicators of theoretical and methodological, project-technological, practical and activity-based, initial physical fitness (according to the data of entrance examinations in physical education) and the degree of influence of the studied indicators on the level of readiness of graduates of the physical education profile for professional activity was determined.
