Objective of the study was to analysis of the experience of using polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) and amino acids with branched side chains (BCAA) in individuals involved in physical education.
Methods and structure of the study. The search for literature data was conducted using open electronic databases of scientific literature PubMed and eLIBRARY.
Results and conclusions. Literature data demonstrate that the use of food supplements based on PUFA and BCAA in physical education practice is considered as a means demonstrating the ability to modulate muscle reactions to exercise by increasing the endurance of skeletal muscles, their strength characteristics, as well as the ability to minimize muscle damage caused by physical exercise. It was found that the optimal duration of PUFA use was 8 weeks at a daily dose of 4-5 g, BCAA - 2-10 g for no more than 16 weeks. The combined use of these supplements can have a synergistic effect in terms of potentiating muscle recovery reactions in the post-exercise period.

Keywords: sports nutrition, polyunsaturated fatty acids, amino acids with branched side radicals, application mode.
