Objective of the study was to identifying the possibilities of using artificial intelligence to implement an individual approach in physical education classes for students of a special medical group and assessing the effectiveness of its use in the educational process of the university.
Methods and structure of the study. The research work was carried out in two main stages. At the first stage, in early 2023, a model of working with AI was developed, which was used to assess physical capabilities and draw up individual physical education lesson plans for students of a special medical group at universities of the Big University of Tomsk. The model was constructed on the basis of the Generative Pre-trained Transformer 4o multimodal neural network.
Results and conclusions. The possibilities of using artificial intelligence (AI) to implement an individual approach in physical education classes for students of a special medical group were studied, and the effectiveness of its use in the educational process of the university was assessed. The effectiveness of using AI to ensure personalization of classes for students of a special medical group was proven. The use of AI allowed teachers to take into account the specifics of diseases and physical capabilities of each student, improved physical performance, reduced the frequency of exacerbations of diseases and increased student satisfaction with classes.
