A structured approach to the professional development of an innovative teacher in the sphere of physical education and sports

Objective of the study was to development of creative and innovative activity competencies of future physical education teachers.
Methods and structure of the study. The scientific work is based on the competence-structured approach to the development of creative abilities of a physical education teacher. The procedural basis was formed by the methods of system-structural, factor and comparative analysis.
Results and conclusions. The structural components of a creative personality are defined: creative thinking, acmeological orientation, creative self-development, motor variability. The component components of the creative orientation of future physical education teachers are identified: value-motivational, content-process, reflexive, personal. It is established that the creative potential of a future specialist lies in the development of creative abilities and the desire for self-development.
