Development of human resources potential of university graduates in the Russian labor market in the field of physical education and sports

Objective of the study was to identification and analysis of problems and opportunities for the development of human resources and the recruitment of university graduates in organizations operating in the field of physical culture and sports in the Russian Federation.
Methods and structure of the study. To achieve this goal, a questionnaire survey was conducted among personnel department employees and heads of organizations in the field of physical culture and sports in the regions of the Russian Federation (n=702).
Results and conclusions. The features of intraregional and interregional cooperation of organizations with educational institutions were identified, the channels used to attract young specialists were determined, and priority selection criteria and problems in filling vacancies for young specialists were shown. The data obtained can be used in developing effective methods of interaction between organizations and educational institutions to ensure the necessary training of personnel in the field of physical education and sports.
