Predictive analysis of the development of psychophysiological qualities of medical students in the process of physical education at the university

Objective of the study was to conduct a prognostic analysis of the development of psychophysiological qualities of medical students in the process of physical education at the university.
Methods and structure of the study. The study was conducted at the Department of Physical Education of Surgut State University in the 2023-2024 academic year. 1st year students studying in the specialty areas of «General Medicine» and «Pediatrics» (hereinafter referred to as medical students) took part in the testing of psychophysiological qualities (103 people in total, of which 69 were girls and 34 boys). The following diagnostic methods were used: tapping test, E.P. Ilyin; proofreading, B. Bourdon; test catching a falling ruler, V.F. Lomeiko, K. Mekota.
Results and conclusions. A prognostic analysis of the development of psychophysiological qualities of medical students revealed the need for their correction within the framework of physical education. This is possible through the use of specially selected physical exercises (hereinafter referred to as PE) during training sessions, in particular PE with changing the speed and direction of movement according to a signal, PE for switching attention, complex coordination exercises with a variety of sports equipment for the development of interhemispheric interaction.
