Problems and prospects for teaching the subject «Physical education» in the conditions of the updated FSES

Objective of the study was to identify problems in teaching the subject «physical education» in the general education system in the context of the updated Federal State Educational Standard (FEP).
Methods and structure of the study. Using an online survey, a survey was conducted of 239 physical education teachers representing general education institutions in the Surgut region, Surgut, Nizhnevartovsk, and Beloyarsky.
Results and conclusions. With a sufficient degree of reliability, one can judge the problems of the content and technology of teaching the subject «Physical Education» in the general education system in the context of the updated Federal State Educational Standard (FEP). As a result of the survey, pedagogical difficulties associated with the conditions of teaching the subject «Physical Education» were identified. Many teachers note the lack of methodological knowledge in the implementation of floorball, badminton, football for all, fitness aerobics, and ski training modules.
