Features of development of physical current and sports regional studies by profile educational organizations

Objective of the study was to assessment of the results of regional and all-Russian competitions of projects and research works in physical culture and sports local history.
Results and conclusions. The level of physical culture and sports local history activities in the vast majority of organizations is at an extremely low level, which is due to the weak theoretical, methodological and methodological preparedness of the teaching staff in matters of local history. This circumstance raises the question of the relevance of further research devoted to various aspects of physical culture and sports local history, including its popularization.
