It has been established that among junior schoolchildren of the Chechen Republic there are quite significant gender differences in the level of physical development, motor readiness and functional state of the body, which must be taken into account when developing educational programs in the discipline «Physical Education» and in the process of organizing the process of physical education in general.
To increase the comparability and better analysis of the results of monitoring the physical development and motor readiness of children in the Chechen Republic, it is necessary to improve control measuring materials, bring the composition of the means, methods, and tests used for this in full compliance with the recommendations contained in documents at the federal level and in the GTO complex.

Keywords: motor potential of the body, primary schoolchildren, condition indicators.
