Ontological approach in the development of prediction abilities of future sports coaches

Objective of the study was to actualization of the application of the ontological approach in the development of predictive abilities of future sports coaches.
Methods and structure of the study. The article substantiates the use of the ontological approach in the process of developing the predictive abilities of future coaches, which includes not only the transfer of predictive knowledge, but also the formation of values, the development of personal qualities and their socio-professional adaptation to professional activities.
Results and conclusions. It is shown that the ontological approach defines the problem of developing the professional qualities of a teacher and student in the training space, based on the logic of their common meanings in activity. In this context, the subject of training and competitive processes, as well as the object of future professional activity, is considered to be an essential personality that determines his sports-training and sports-competitive existence.
